One (the only?) reason to split OSU and UM

I’m guessing that if the Big Ten gets two BCS bids, it’s likely they’ll be the winner and loser of the B10 championship game (although obviously many possible scenarios exist). That’s a pretty good reason for administrators and coaches to support the rematch option.
